Alterity Group, a leading independent consulting firm offering advisory services designed to meet the unique needs of private equity firms and employers, announced today that Anita Lohrs will be joining the company as a Senior Director in the New York City office.

Lohrs brings with her more than three decades of benefits consulting experience and more than a decade of experience working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Lohrs’ benefit experience, specifically in the private equity space, will help advance Alterity’s capabilities. “I’m very excited to be joining the Alterity team,” said Lohrs. “Alterity has a strong value proposition for its clients and continues to grow its reputation in the marketplace by delivering thoughtful and strategic solutions.”

Lohrs spent 20 years at Mercer and was most recently a partner in the company’s M&A Transaction Services line of business. Prior to Mercer, Lohrs worked at Frank Crystal & Co. and Prudential. Lohrs obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Rochester.
