Strategic
Benefits Review

Comprehensive review of current employee benefits programs. Consider current market trends and identify opportunities aligned with established strategic objectives and prioritize them based on potential ROI, timeline to implement and resources required.

Regulatory
and Compliance

Support for a variety of regulatory and compliance items, including, but not limited to: Form 5500 completion, review of plan documents to ensure compliance with health and welfare regulations, and non-discriminatory testing. Also provide updates on legislative compliance issues and advise on benefits approach.

Financial
and Actuarial

Develop custom modeling tools to assess contribution, carrier and plan design options, as well as cost projections and budget analyses needed to finalize changes. Develop dashboard with key performance indicators, including costs, cost drivers and predictive modeling data.

Communications

Support communication efforts through the development of custom materials, such as benefit guides, webinars and bulletins. Coordinate and facilitate open enrollment meetings.

Broker Audit and RFP

Review and assess existing broker contract terms and conditions, scope of services, and current cost structure, along with overall broker expertise and service philosophy. If requested, we conduct a comprehensive RFP process to ensure clients partner with the best provider which meets their needs.

Benefits Administration System / Private Exchange RFP

Conduct a comprehensive RFP process of benefits administration systems (employee enrollment technology). Identify areas of opportunity for process enhancement, improved efficiency and cost savings to identify an appropriate benefits administration partner to meet company’s needs. Review current and/or potential private exchange options.

Subrogation

Carve out existing embedded TPA subrogation and implement an independent subrogation provider, which can double medical claim recovery savings that were at the fault of another party.

Medicaid
Help Desk

Connect lower-income employees with Medicaid counselors who offer education and enrollment support. Program also provides ongoing and re-enrollment support through a full-service call center.

Benefits
